The sun is shining and we are all out in our gardens getting ready for summer. I’m always looking for ways to make my garden have a sense of individuality. Here I will share with you my easy step by step Poundland Plant Pot Hack.
Whilst out shopping in Poundland for the usual school snacks and cleaning products I spotted these bargain terracotta plant pots. Yes you guessed it they was a pound each, the clue is in the shop name isn’t it.
PRODUCTS YOU WILL NEED
You are good to go.
STEP ONE…. PREP
Make your first V shape with the Frogtape, then cut off a spare piece so you have an accurate width for your next piece of Frogtape to go beside it.
‘When applying the Frogtape to the Poundland plant pot make sure you really press it down so no paint can seep underneath and corse bleeding.
STEP TWO…. THE PAINT
Let the fun commence. When painting it’s key to not overload your paintbrush. Start to apply your paint to the pot brushing away from the Frogtape, this will reduce any paint bleeding under the tape and give you those super sweet crisp lines.
Once you have applied your paint leave to dry. I applied two coats of paint to give that strong block colour.
STEP THREE…. THE GRAND UNVEILING
After a couple of hours and when you are certain the paint is bone dry it’s time to carefully remove your tape.
There you have it. A simple Poundland Plant Pot hack to give your plain terracotta pots some individuality.
Is this something you would like to try?
The possibilities are endless with the designs you could apply.
